Coal Zimbabwe donates Masks, Sanitizer towards COVID-19
CHIREDZI-Chiredzi District COVID-19 Taskforce yesterday received a donation of 300 disposable Masks as well as 15 litres of sanitize from Coal Zimbabwe,aCoal Mining company that is operating in Chisambiji and Gudo area in Chiredzi North.

The donation was handed over to the Taskforce during its Stakeholders update meeting held at Chiredzi Town council on Thursday.

Coal Zimbabwe General Manager Atul Palande handed over the donation and pledged to chip in with Moreno in the near future.He also said his company is taking its responsibility in the community to ensure that the fight against COVID-19 is also their concern.v
“We are concern about the health of people in the communities where we work from and as a company we are expected to help as much as we can” Palande said.
Coal Zimbabwe’s donation adds up to Tongaat Hulett’s $6 million dollars worth of PPE to the district.
The company has a record of assisting the community and vulnarables.Its philanthropic attitude has left smiles on the faces of Fair Range settlers who are now reaping proceeds from Chimhangula ,a piece of land donated to villagers for CAMPFIRE.
Chiredzi District COVID-19 Taskforce Chairman Lovemore Chisema appreciated the donation and encouraged the Coal Mining company to keep on with the goodwill.
